3. Reich is wrong about one thing...
There were people who accused Eisenhower of being a socialist (and communist): The fringe nutbars whose intellectual (if I can use that word) decendents are the Tea Tories, the Randoids, and basically the people pushing the agenda of the Republican party these days.
