1. I'm kind of mixed on this issue.

While I definitely support more religious diversity, I just wish the Islamic world would reciprocate more.

We need more X-ian missionaries in the Middle East to break up those monopolies, and more Muslims in the West to challenge X-ian dominance.

Of course, its frustrating when Muslim immigrants don't assimilate and respect secular law. The way some countries like Britain have allowed sharia courts to run in tandem with common law is disturbing, to say the least.

Its always a difficult balance between tolerating religious freedom yet still having some semblance of "separation of church and state."

4. And that´s the problem with the EDL isn´t it

That they are mostly racist (and anti-catholic) morons who have got it into their head that they protect "the silent majority".
In that sense they remind me of the tea party. Any reasonable greviances some might have turns into an alibi for other shit.

Its no coincidence either that a lot of these guys are or used to be football hooligans. Even in the most immigrant heavy parts of britain you dont see a lot of brown faces on the terraces. With the increased security around the stadium they need other venues to get their adrenaline kick.
