Since I wrote a post a few weeks back about David Barton's open embrace http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/david-barton-advocates-seven-mountains-dominionism of Seven Mountains Dominionism, I have gone back and re-read several of the books I have on the topic and have been watching lots of videos about it.

Today, I came across a video http://hi.cross.tv/32019 of Lance Wallnau - the leading Seven Mountains theologian operating today - talking about it and he makes two points http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haOrFAKg-No that I think deserve to be highlighted: 1) that Seven Mountains Dominionism is founded upon the belief that every sphere of influence is literally being held captive by people hand-picked by Satan and 2) it is the obligation of Christians to "seize those high places" in order to bring about the return of Jesus Christ

Seven Mountains Dominionism aka New Apostolic Reformation religious movement is the one Michelle bAchmann & Sarah Palin are in and Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee and others are cozying up to. frm sen & current Kansas gov Sam brownback is such good friends with Lou Engle they shared a condo for months. DeMint is also involved.

"Real Christians" had better coral their nutty cousins.... because they are Christians too. And who else is responsible for them but Christian teachings? Who else should keep them in check? Atheists? Jews? Rastafaris?

This "real" and "fake" Christian notion is baloney. They are all Christians if they are using the Bible and New Testament as an excuse for any behavior.... good or bad. After all "screw you and the Jeebus you rode in on" sounds like condemnation to me. You must not be a "real" Christian.

Best just to drop the whole messed up fantasy.
