1. LOL! Paul wants welfare for property owners!

3. Ron Paul is a wack job
But a wack job can at least be accurate twice in one day. And when it comes to American foreign intervention, I couldn't agree with him more.

4. All the $ he is going to save overseas
will have to be poured into the court system to handle all of the lawsuits. Not saying that is a bad thing. Only expensive.

5. Spitzer nailed him..
..when Spitzer said you would rather private lawyers protect the environment than the EPA? Pounding. Paul couldn't respond to this other than to suggest city and local laws/agencies are ideal, rather than a federal law/agency.

Ultimately, I think Spitzer assesses Paul accurately in that Paul can express a coherent/valid opinion, but his worldview is ultimately too simplistic and dichotomous for real-world politics.

6. I wish this could go on much longer
Elliot Spitzer could continued to destroy Ron Paul. Though, it would be nice to put Ron Paul in charge of our foreign policy - maybe Secretary of State.

Let me get this straight: if you own property you have more rights than if you don't. And if you can't afford the lawyers then you get no protection, even if presumably there are laws already in place to prevent the abuse. And if the laws don't already exist, what good are the lawyers?

7. Paul says "general welfare" refers to "free trade and property rights, not caring for the elderly"..
...apologies if I didn't get the quote exact, but it's close, and certainly the gist of what he meant.

8. Spitzer made Paul's position untenable
at best.

I do not see how social security and medicare are not 'general welfare' issues. And imagine the necessity of bringing a lawsuit every time there is a pollution problem. We would be mired in filthy air and water in no time. As it is conditions worsen every day as corporations find it easier to pay fines than correct the source of various pollutions.

Ron Paul's philosophy is simply bankrupt. Sorry to step on the toes of the many lingering DU Ron Paul supporters but that's just the way I see it.

10. You tube comment section is a bit scary at the moment.
Spitzer is obviously nailing him,yet they all seem to think Ron Paul has it right.
