Anwar al-Awlaki survived the attack, but two suspected members of Al Qaeda died. It was reported to be the first U.S. drone strike in Yemen in nine years. "It is illegal to kill a U.S. citizen in Yemen, outside of armed conflict, without any due process," says Maria LaHood of the Center For Constitutional Rights. I would not have spent the time on reworking the form to fit my message if it were not an interesting form. Besides, disagreements here frequently become fairly acrimonious. I thought that something different was called for. Poetry works as commentary, sometimes.
