In a speech delivered this morning, President Barak Obama set out some guidelines for the future of the Middle East and North Africa, where unrest and revolt has been all too rampant as of late. While Obama says the present is a "moment of opportunity" to make things better, promises that pegged Obama as a peaceful president at the start of his administration have gone unfulfilled. Instead, America has only extended one war and started another. Nick Turse of TomDispatch.com says he doesn't have a lot of hope of the President's most recent rhetoric.

2. Bullshit -

a) America didn't start the Lybian civil war; the Lybians revolted! Your logic is shit. Obama helped the rebels avoid mass murder, and that's a bad thing?! Or you dumb enough to believe Qaddafi would have done right by his peoople's desire for reforms?

b) Iraq has fewer US troops since the start of the war; our involvement, deaths, injuries, and expenses are at an all time low in Iraq...and it's all declining.

Plus, your statement "Middle East and North Africa, where unrest and revolt has been all too rampant as of late" is a disgrace. So the folks of Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia should have stayed quiet about about their plot, just to preserve the "peace"?

I'm pro-peace and anti-war, but if a nation's people are being oppressed by a dictator, then those people have every right to rise up and F@#$%^&G kill that dictator.

...Obama did expand the Afghan mission. can't argue with that.
