I've heard hours upon hours of Rush's bullshit over the years. I consider it my civic duty to tune in when I can, as painfully stupid as his arguments may be, because I need to know what the GOPee talking points are on a given day and nobody gets them out like Oxy-boy.

And there are plenty of fellow lefties who do likewise.

Whereas, it's pretty safe to say that most righties (probably not all, but the vast, vast majority) really do NEVER bother listen to progressive radio.

Seriously, ever run into anyone on the right side with even a passing familiarity of (say) Randi? Ed Schultz?

....or 5 minutes and even one minute. He is complete bullshit and I have not listened to his program or any other RW talk show since I began my boycott of them on July 1st. I don't even care to read about what they say for these people are part of the problem. Thanks for posting though as I'm sure for any DUer listening it might just be the last straw for them to decide to turn away totally from these cretins.

He has done more harm to this country of mine than Osama bin Laden. I respect his right to express his opinions, but I find what he preaches to be an anathema to the concepts of liberty this country was founded on. I just wish Americans were smarter. Then he wouldn't be a problem.

it would be Limbaugh. He's made a fortune smearing anyone to the left of Attila the Hun. Of course when it's one of THEM that has the same rules of "smear" used against them, well.....it's just not fair and must be stopped immediately. Then they can get back to business as usual, smearing every Democrat on the planet.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why this anal cyst of a human being attracts listeners. Anyone who listens to and agrees with this vicious blowhard can't be overly intelligent. But I guess he knows who his audience is and panders to their prejudices and fears just to suck every dime he can out of them.

That's how they keep the 30% believing their bullshit: By manipulation, lying and twisting what *they actually* said into a "smear campaign" against them. I honestly believe their listeners have similar persecution complexes to the ones they obviously have.

Loved the edit in of the reference to the *one* disgraced critic and the blatant lie that he was the only person they were talking about. Hilarious.

Sometimes you just have to experience something unpleasant so you can understand.
