1. Bill Maher said he actually likes Bill O'Reilly, and that O'Reilly is not
as conservative as people think.

Well, I guess that cancels out the last bit of respect I had for Bill Maher. I'm done.

2. Maher isn't a liberal; he's a self-proclaimed libertarian
That means he likes at least half of what conservatives say.

3. He also likes Coulter-geist. I think he's a bitter man.

4. Hip hop
Wow even Maher, who is obviously not racist, IS out of touch with black culture. I'm white but I feel I know a lot about black history and culture and clearly has has never heard good hip hop. His and others' arguments about the evils of rap and hip hop are basically the same as saying the existence of Gigli means film making is a bad art form! Clearly he has never actually listened to the Roots, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, Public Enemy, and many, many others becuase not only are their lyrics poetic, beautiful, expressive and political, but the music is often VERY complex. And yes, they do talk about sex...oh no, sex!! Sex is a part of life. Dirty sex, raw sex, boring sex, ....yea it's part of life so mos def writes about it.

Sidenote: Dr. Dyson is an excellent speaker...he gets his points across quickly and eloquently which is necessary on a show like this. Love him.
