3. There's that word again... "Americans"
Edited on Fri Jul-08-11 09:10 PM by AlbertCat
You mean like 10% of Americans might "suffer" under higher taxes, not a majority. And that 10% won't be suffering much.

And shouldn't Corporations, which are doing great right now... maybe "suffer" just a little.

They evoke "Americans" and "the American People" like they are speaking about everybody, instead of that 10% and Corporations. If you hear them utter "Americans", you know they are full of it.

telling lies

Cantor and Boehner promised jobs if the bush tax cuts stayed .......... where are the jobs??
10 years of tax cuts ........... where are the jobs??
Less jobs now than when bush took office ......... where are the jobs??

Show us the facts that tax cuts create jobs and then we might believe you ............

12. I Don't Know Who Those Experts Are
That were expecting just over 100,000 jobs created in June. Any fool looking at the weekly first time claims number would have known that it would by less than 50,000 -- with a big part of the problem the loss of 39,000 government jobs in June alone. This anti-stimulus headwind has been with us for a long time too. Republicans would accelerate this significantly and call that growing the economy -- kind of like Wisconsin did recently when they fired union workers and replaced them with unpaid prisoners. Ah, yes, the future of America -- GOP style.

13. "If you look at the jobs report, and the result OF CURRENT POLICIES...
...it's PROOF THAT THE BUSH TAX CUTS DON'T WORK!"

You dingleberries managed to get the Bush tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 and not a single job was created. The same thing was true when you managed to wrangle a deal in the lame duck Congress last year to get them EXTENDED. Ten years of tax cuts has proven that TAX CUTS DON'T CREATE JOBS.

So I agree with Oily Eric. THE CURRENT POLICIES ARE NOT WORKING. Try something else!

15. Tell the truth for once.
It is an end to the tax breaks for the wealthy, that Dubya put in place. They were supposed to expire last year.

He cut the "job creators" taxes so...,they would create jobs. They didn't. Now it is way past time to reinstate their taxes.

Cantor, tell the truth.

16. He only tells the truth to Israeli diplomats
Edited on Fri Jul-08-11 11:16 PM by WhoIsNumberNone
i.e. "I'll support you guys over my own country."

I wonder if Cantor's Israeli buddies are invested in the same 'America Fails' hedge fund that he is? If Cantor causes the country default on our debt he should be tried for treason.
