I got to see very few of those Spitting Images back in the days....but every one of them was funny....the one with Maggie and Ronnie were gut busting.

And this clip is particularly good, the way Murdoch is conflating everything with IAN BOTHAM, who was a cricket player that they had in the slander-sheet tabloids all the time.

If you substitute "Obama" for "Botham" this clip would look like it was made YESTERDAY!

I gather that they eventually had to take it off the air because they were sued too often.

We had a pathetic, watered down version of it here for awhile. Do you remember it? It had Fred Willard in it. The jokes were neither funny nor biting, and the puppets were awful. Not surprised it got canceled.
