Great stuff, but one error:

Jesus was not sexist. Against the customs and traditions of the day, He taught women, spoke with them "unchaperoned," prevented at least one from being stoned, told men that by lusting after other women they had committed adultery "in their hearts" (instead of putting the blame on the woman), did His first miracle for His mother, Mary, when he wasn't even ready to start his teaching, and much more. Now evidence is surfacing that Mary Magdalene was an important disciple, to whom He imparted special teachings. Time and again, Jesus brought dignity, recognition, and importance to the women of His time and for all time after. The stuff that Palin and Bachmann quote is most often not from Jesus's words, but from the words of disciples struggling to cope with a world of conflict and fledgling Christian congregations after Jesus's death.
