I urge you to call your Senators and Representatives and demand a fair budget deal.

1. Contacted both senators and my congressman...

for the second time within a month.

My Senators are Democrats. I shouldn't even have to ask them to fight for a fair budget deal.
But they didn't fight to end the tax cuts, so one never knows...

Again asked my Dem Congressman to explain his reasons for voting against the Progressive Budget....

3. There was a time.......

....when even Senators like Lieberman could be counted on to get behind Sanders' position on this.

Now Democratic Senators (except Sanders, apparently, and he is nominally not even a Democrat)
are scrambling to figure out how to get away with not too vocally opposing the positions of
Frank Luntz and the Koch brothers.
