1. Republicans say that what's wrong with the economy and the country is not mass unemployment, but deficit and debts.

2. I offered no alternative priority or governing vision that actually might work, and agreed with them. I made their priority my priority when "official" unemployment is between 9-10%, legitimized tying deficit reduction to the debt ceiling for the first time in US history, and gave them 99% of what they wanted.

3. We accomodated them by making sure we tried to achieve their phony deficit priorities by honoring their stupid and contradictory "No Tax Pledge" that they signed to appeal to insane right-wingers, because we were mindful that these brainless idiots had boxed themselves in of their own accord.
