Jayar Jackson and Ana Kasparian discuss a story about how common rape is during war against men. Why is this common war crime being ignored by international aid organizations?

1. I wonder if it's being ignored because of many men's attitudes about
rape in general -- "she dressed like she wanted it" "what was she doing out so late at night? She was asking for it" "Wives can't be raped - they owe it to their husbands" "Prostitutes can't be raped, that's what they're there for"

Now, all of those statements are reprehensible, but we have all heard them in one form or another for years. Women don't believe this shit because they are the usual targets of rape and recognize that men are rationalizing their actions, but men, even when they get raped themselves, still have the above shit in their heads. In addition, they feel denigrated because they have been USED LIKE WOMEN, which is unacceptable to the male ego. It is a case where men's own callous and contemptuous attitudes toward women and homosexuals contaminates even the way men treat each other. Hoist by their own petard, so to speak.

I have no idea why international aid orgs are ignoring it -- are they refusing to treat the raped men? Are they not allowing men to claim they were raped, and not allowing them access to what raped women get -- counseling, medical attention, etc.? I didn't get that from the video.
