Now that is leadership. Unlike the US where so-called leaders continue to believe that it's possible to bomb and jail the the bad guys into submission, this is a refreshing change. Sure, the US and Norway have different positions in the world but if the US wants to tell everyone about how great it's democracy is, maybe it would be possible to actually deliver rather than shut it down. Bush may have led the charge into ignorance but there weren't many who objected. Even now, how many really are demanding that we stop bombing the world? As a country, we could certainly learn a few lessons watching Norway's reaction to this awful act of terrorism.

What are you laughing at?

The solution here is more guns, not more democracy.

10. Great speech, great sentiment. In the Tucson disaster didn't Obama say
something along these lines?

I think he did. I hope Obama asks the Nobel Prize commission to give this guy a Nobel Prize, too!

We could use a visit from this guy before our next election, too!

12. Um DUH, I think Obama has already given away his cash award
Edited on Sun Jul-24-11 07:14 PM by JAnthony
what are you asking Obama to do?

Why did you forget or marginalize the leadership Obama showed in Tucson?

Is it because he's multi-racial and you harbor fears of dark skinned people actually showing leadership?

January, 2011. Obama stood up strong and tall ........and less than 8 months later, with Republican majorities in the House and Fox News have convinced some like you that Obama is no longer worthy?

Obama did in January EXACTLY what this Norwegian leader did this week. You want to rip off people's Nobel Peace Prize awards because you are so biased and so anxious about your own financial future?

Please, get some rationality before you post again here!

18. Wow. Just wow
What a class act. And what a contrast to the Bush people's response to 9/11.

His words remind me what a bunch of thugs we had running the show.
