Video from Tennessee General Assembly, House Session - 85nd Legislative Day, March 20, 2010. Rep. Tony Shipley (Washington County) speaking out against the extending the commission of theTennessee Nursing Board (legislation for an amendment had been introduced the previous week to extend the Nursing Board to a 2016 sunset date).

Rep. Matthew Hill (also of Washington County) asked the sponsor of HR2600 from the Floor as to length of appointments for members of the Tennessee Nursing and mentions that the other representative from Washington County --- Rep. Dale Ford --- was not then present within the Tennessee House of Representatives.

The Tennessee Board of Investigation is reportedly looking into whether Reps. Tony Shipley and Dale Ford improperly used their elected offices to reverse the decision of the Tennessee Nursing Board to suspend the licenses of three nurses, two having personal ties to Shipley and Ford.
