Springsteen and Fogerty are both stepping up. We really need the younger rap artists to step up too, unfortunately they have more to lose than established artists like Springsteen and Fogerty. It's good to hear the older anti-establishment artist come out of the woodwork. Thanks guys.

... Saul Williams. I don't dig on much hip-hop, but this guy is incredible. I first heard his work when I discovered he was touring with Nine Inch Nails (an unlikely line-up, to say the least), and I was blown away by his style and his lyrics.

He even sings a bit of his second anti-war song at the end - I can't take no more.

I just got my CD a few days ago and I love it. I think his "we need a gunslinger" is aimed at the Dem's to get off their asses and do something.
