1. A freshman congresswoman running for POTUS

and everyone takes it seriously a year and a half prior to the elections? Everyone knows she and Perry are complete crackers so why all the hoopla? I'll hypothesize, suppose it's all about getting media "facetime" for future wannabes. Suppose it's all about getting media blah blah blah to pull eveyone farther to the right. Suppose it's all about making a no recognition "sleeper" like Huntsman a viable, reasonable alternative to the absurdist clowns (Bachman, Perry, et. al.). Suppose Karl Rove is behind the scenes, he's already commented negatively on Bachman/Perry just wait for his Huntsman endorsement. It all amounts to a scenario to make the radical right seem less so at election time.
