Jimmy Carter, a fine fellow. Is he lying? Well I for one wouldn't know. I'm no mind reader.
Now the other chap,, Bush. Seems like he's running his big fat mouth again. And as we all know, that any time he opens his pie-hole, we'll all soon be treated to a big fat lie in short order.
So using simple deduction, I'd say it's Bush that's lying.
Now I know he's lying and you know he's lying. But replay the video a couple times and note his body language and gestures. There is almost no sign of a lie.
Which logically leads me to three possible conclusions on him.
A. He's on drugs. B. Is a liar. C. Is as dumb as a freaking rock.
Take your pick. :freak:
ok, ok, maybe he's not lying. He did qualify things by saying he was following US law, in the form of executive orders he created.

3. i saw a snippet of lesie's interview with carter on CNN's sit. room yesterday. |

at one point when leslie asserted, "but the president as recently as yesterday has said that the u.s. doesn't torture," carter's reply was, "he's ..." and then caught himself before he finished the sentence but you could hear it in his caught breath: "lying" ... "yes!!!!" i said to myself. "don't be afraid. come on! finish the sentence 'he is lying!' say it! once and for all!" but carter did not quite come out and say it that way ... although he said that by changing the definition of torture and disregarding what every country in this world regards, bush could claim that he has broken no laws and made no torture." and that is the bush speciality. spin. lie. throw mud. blame. obscure. obscure. obscure.
