2. Chomsky is a brilliant man. I respect his analysis more than any other. |
|
His arguments are not based on the demagoguery or lies or conventional wisdom that we see in politics...and that makes him a despised man in many corners.
And I love how Chomsky doesn't care what others think about him. He has no regard for 98% of politicians. They're in a system that forces them into corruption to stay in the game.

4. what do you mean by "they", |

white man?
(to rephrase Lenny Bruce).
A corrupted elite and an oppressed population are not the same thing.

do we bear witness to the absolute contempt of the Corporate Megalomaniacs. Radical Income Inequity is their oppression du jour, and it is manifest globally.

7. word. one of the many myths ameicans believe is that the US wants to spread 'democracy'. |
|
which is amusing considering how little regard the TPTB have for it right here in this country...

12. This myth is eroding a little. |
|
"The ILLUSION of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater." — Frank Zappa
