The Post Office won't be broke if it's allowed to make these accounting changes:

- Recover money it overpaid into its pension

- Be freed from a unique requirement to prepare for health care costs 75 years into the future

3. This guy thought the USPS should be privatized because a letter was late...

(So I wrote)......

Wow, one time a letter didn't get there on time and you want to get rid of the US Postal Service - I've sent, and everyone I know has sent thousands of letter that get there in 3 days always!

And you want to bring down the Post Office for a letter you sent costing 40 cents years ago that didn't get there fast enough? How many millions of letter get there in 3 days, every day.

This sounds like you want corporate privatizat虹on....Cor計orations certainly would charge us a hell of a lot more than 44 cents to send a letter across the country in 3 days.....

Privatizat虹on always cost consumers more....be限cause with corporatio要s privatizin茆 the goal is always to shoot to get rid of the competitio要, buy them out, force them out, whatever, and then monopolies form, from monopolies collusion always occurs.

Collusion is against the law, yes but the corporatio要s spend millions on lobbyist to fight for de-regulat虹on...... so whose to watch them, not the government you hate so much.... Who then? Consumer groups, you think they are all about liberalism and trying to hurt the greedy corporatio要s.

The consumer always loses when corporatio要s privatize and inevitably collude and then from our taxes demanded government subsidies (corporate welfare) by corporatio要s & lobbyist for even higher profits .

Long live the USPS - It's part of our Constituti觔n!

4. To be able to send a letter anywhere in the country for 44 cents.....
and it usually always gets there in 3 day via the United States Postal Service (USPS)...A衍ways!

For decades I've sent tens of thousands of letters through the USPS and they always get there (3000 miles away to the east coast and elsewhere from CA in three days - always).

I despise UPS!

I now always send all my packages USPS to even to the most obscure places UPS (or FedEx) wont even ship to some of these places but the USPS always gets the package there.

And all letter for just 44 cents!
