All sound and no sense coming out of them. But I'm not singling these two out, the whole financial press (with some exceptions like Max Keiser) keeps waiting for austerity to swoop in and save them, like the Zeppelin Hindenburg.

The real answer -- jubilee -- is never discussed. Rather than solemnly accept liar's loans as real wealth that has to be preserved at all costs for the big banks, they need a haircut. Some, like Goldman Sachs who shorted the crap they were peddling, need to have a real close haircut, kind of like Louis XVI had.
