2. David Gregory is a worthless sack of shit.
Gregory: "Hey, President Clinton! Look at this! Your old friend said some harsh things about Obama. CONTROVERSY! What do you think of that?"

Clinton: "Here's a short discourse featuring a nuanced analysis of policy, the political dynamics of the economy, and the ideal characteristics of political leadership. I hope it's informative for your viewers."

Gregory: "Well... uh... that was... uh... interesting. I guess. Hey! Look at this! People really like your wife and may not like Obama so much! CONTROVERSY! What do you think of that?"

Cable TV has made a desert and calls it "the news." The purpose of the modern political press is not to serve as the catalyst for public debate and discourse, but to position its members as political "insiders" who get all the juicy gossip and nonsensical horse-race bullshit that is fundamentally irrelevant to the lives of 99.9% of the American public. Its sole purpose, its entire reason for being, is to make the members of the political press seem influential, serious, and insightful instead of the sub-moronic starfuckers that they really are.

So fuck David Gregory and fuck his stupid, shit-eating grin. The sooner Meet the Press is canceled, the better.

3. Buyer's remorse? Seriously? It's more like wishful thinking.
I don't think there's any single person, president or otherwise, who could have made lemonade out of the hand that Obama was dealt. Secondly, the GOP would NOT have been any kinder to Hillary. That is a fact. Just look at the way they treated her as FLOTUS. Their goal, like it is with all Democratic presidents, is to make it nearly impossible to govern. Do Democrats actually believe the Rethuglicans would have been nicer, more cooperative with Hillary?

10. The hand Obama was dealt? You mean full control of Congress and the White House? That Hand?
The only variable was the spinelessness of Harry Reid in the Senate.

If Hillary was the Prez, she would have taken him aside before the swear-in ceremony and warned him to crack the whip (no pun intended) in the Senate or he'd get what she threatened to do to Bill if he strayed again.

The House, under Nancy Pelosi passed over 400 bills during the time that the Senate was still having hearings on HCR.

If I hear Harry Reid say one more time "The Republicans WON'T LET US" I think I'll burst. And a real President would have had his ass on the carpet within 5 minutes. Cancel that, Hillary isn't a fool: she would have made damn sure the Filibuster rules were not so easily abused.

That's my 2 cents anyway.

4. "Trust me. I signed NAFTA into law and ended Glass-Steagall"
"I know how to run a country right into Republican hands and set the stage for economic devastation."

"Remember it's me, Bill and Monika under the desk, telling you to vote for the best Right Wing President since me: Barack Obama."

5. Well played...
You smeared two Democratic presidents in one short post.

Why stop there? Next time, conjure up some low-brow libel against Jimmy Carter, LBJ and JFK.

6. Well written... but you forgot a few things.
But you missed the point entirely. I did not smear any Democrats. I smeared two "Conserva-Dems" (aka Corporate Dems). That's no Democrat at all. That's a Republican in Dem's clothing. DLC/New Way/Third Way/No Labels; all code for pro-Corporate and pro-Rich.

Thus, I have no intention of "conjuring up" anything against a true Democrat.

PS, what exactly did I "conjure up?" Everything I wrote is true. Show me the lie in my post that you responded to.

8. You are 100% correct. Thanks for fighting against the lazy compliance
that some people confuse for party loyalty.

Until Obama stops outsourcing millions of jobs to unregulated labor markets in Asia, and until we stop rewarding Wall Street for criminal activity, we will all suffer.

Those wheels were put in motion by Clinton, Obama needs to demonstrate the leadership and build the moral advantage to stop this train dead in its tracks.

He won't, though. He's just not that into the non-rich.
