The encampment is growing. Generators and sound systems and tents are coming in and an full on media center has been created. Also, people all over the world have been ordering pizza for us to the tune of 2800 dollars worth.

2. It's
time we start to listen each other, instead of expecting some hierarchical symbolic institution - an abstarction - to listen us and take care of us. We are the ones we have been waiting for.

3. To the girl with the cocaine stuff at the beginning....
Very clever but it sure goes over the heads of the people you are trying to convince to take a stand against Wall Street.

One of the reasons the right is so good at messaging is because they don't allude or speak metaphorically.

They tell you what pisses them of and why they are angry.

Politicians look at that and immediately put you in the same category as yippies and radical leftists and so dismiss what you have to say before you even say it.

Please, stop being clever and convey your thoughts is a coherent, understandable way.

My two cents, for what it's worth...

4. Exactly. The people I worked with in various jobs were excellent folks
but satire and irony were not part of their world.

7. I agree!
If we can't show our faces, we're less credible than the bare-faced thieving bastards we're up against!

10. I wonder if those people sipping Champagne realize how
lucky they are, or if they have any sense of guilt about their ill-gotten wealth.

11. you don't understand how these people think...
the protests going on tell them they are doing something RIGHT(ie. squeezing the blood out of the turnip). These are people who have gotten where they are by stepping on others. Guilt is just not a part of their repertoire of feelings. It is a totally different psychological makeup.

12. You are probably quite correct about that! I never met a rich person who
didn't think that they deserved every penny they owned, no matter how they got it, no matter how much they had.

And they CERTAINLY complain about paying ANY small amount in taxes!
