1. That was a very good report. |
|
I loved the bit about the undercover cops and how they camera focused on their 'baggy pants' hiding weapons. Loved how he said they are 'easily identifiable'. Several protesters spotted a few of them also so I guess they're not that good at being undercover! Lol!
Tonight is the third night they are sleeping in the park. They have renamed and are calling it 'Liberty Square'.
Interesting mixture of people there also. As it grows I'm sure there will be a lot more kinds of people. Reminds me of Egypt and how different those protesters were but all had one goal in common.
Thanks for posting, and I hope he does more of these. They are a pretty good media group. I read today that the protesters are setting up for their own media since the MSM is not covering them.
Michael Moore gave Rachel a little hint on twitter about not being there yet. She could be waiting to see how it turns out but so far, she has not covered it.

Michael Moore has so far not been very helpfull re Occupy Wall Street, on the contrary only pessimistic ranting and fearmongering about how the cops will suffocate it violently from the very beginning. Hope he goes there, everybody invited.

4. He went to Wisc. so I am sure he will. |
|
He's been complaining about the media's lack of coverage and pointing out, truthfully, that if it was the teaparty, they would be there.

5. Just to add, it looks like Michael Moore accurately predicted the |
|
behavior of the police. See the video on this page 'Police Action'. Disgusting in a free country to treat citizens who are peacefully protesting this way.

that the Fearfull in Power would block access to Holiest, Stock Exchange and Fed. That's why it was clear from the beginning that continuouss presence would be just close by.

7. Sorry, I misunderstood then, I thought you were saying that MM was |
|
just ranting without reason about the cops.

3. Warning volume spike in last minuet of that video! |

interesting how the cops stayed calm,. the powers that be are aware of how precarious their grip currently is,. .
the political spectrum looks more like a circle than a straight left-right line,. people on the far edges, tend to meet up again, on the alternate middle. People have too much in common to fight about every little issue,. lets just get over this current corporate capitalism stupidity and move on to a non-broken money system, (Resource-based?). and reorganize the political set up so that democracy actually functions again. Do we actually need politicians to vote on issues, when we can do it individually? (net based direct democracy?) Realising that most people will not bother to participate unless an issue that interests them, moves them to become involved in the issue. .,
