There has been a media blackout on the events taking place on wall street. thousands are camping out in protest of the money that was stolen from all of us and the poverty that so many americans and peoples around the world find themselves in as the transfer of the money makes many poor and the rich more rich.
the world may be watching - but Americans arent seeing it except here- spread this!

1. I wouldn't be surprised if the fat cats were complaining to Bloomy
to get these cops to "ramp it up" on the arrests and get these folks outta there. Just guessing.

2. Thanks to the street media folks for doing this!
In the end, this is the only way to get the word out.

It's powerful. I'm putting this everywhere I can.

3. They underestimate how quickly the young generation can spread the news
and organize through the internet. Big mistake. I may fault the young generation for many things (eg texting) but when it comes to spreading information they are on the cutting edge.

4. Posted to FB.
And wrote to Bloomberg. Our cops are very well trained in crowd control. I don't know what's going on here.

8. So far just angry tweets, it seems
AnonymousIRC: We thought our democracy gives the people the right to protest and state their opinion. You lied, now harvest the results. #OccupyWallstreet

AnonymousIRC: RT @spirefly: Right - JFK rings true: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

AnonymousIRC: RT @AyeshaKazmi: Watch this protester get arrested just for speaking to the crowd. Unbelievable.... http://t.co/foKSF2wG #OccupyWallStreet

7. The rich have the most to fear from those who have nothing left to lose.
If they keep hoarding all the wealth, more and more will be joining the ranks of those who will fight back out of desperation and the basic need just to survive. Their greed blinds them to the necessity of a middle class that protects their own status.

10. And Mayor Bloomberg does not even have the decency to say, "Let them eat cake."
Doesn't he understand that if these people had jobs and lives and hope, they would not be sitting and sleeping on that street?

What kind of fool is he?

Bloomberg needs to open some history books. We humans have seen this before -- the rich blaming the poor for being poor.

9. Thanks for posting this, but the video quality is horrible.
The bankers can pillage but a few kids can't sleep for a few nights in the streets in front of the bankers' houses of ill repute.

The police are acting like pimps for the bankers. It is a sad, sad day.

Of course, it is inconvenient to have people sleeping in the street in front of the swanky, super-rich guys and gals on Wall Street. But the few sleeping in the street symbolize thousands and thousands of homeless people across the US who are HOMELESS BECAUSE WALL STREET CRASHED OUR ECONOMY, STOLE OUR JOBS AND THE AMERICAN DREAM FROM SO MANY.

For shame, Mayor Bloomberg. If you were half a man, you would go to the area where the protestors are sleeping and sitting and speak to them, promise them you will look into their grievances and report back to them.

But you, Mayor Bloomberg, are a coward. You have your head in the sand. Shame on you and all on Wall Street who go about their lives oblivious to the suffering and loss they have caused across the country.

11. So where is the support from all the people that live in NY.
If I lived there I would be on my way to Wall Street.
These people are standing up for all of our best interests.
Get a spine.
