"President Obama in his remarks to the attendees of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Phoenix Awards Dinner, said, we have to do more to put people to work right now. That starts with getting this Congress to pass the American Jobs Act. September 24, 2011."

I'm glad I watched this to see the widely-discussed quotes from it in context. In parts he speaks as a black man with a black family in a way that perhaps he doesn't often do.

2. Thanks VERY MUCH for posting this. I've bookmarked it to watch later.
It is my personal belief that the protests popping up here and there in the recent past are appreciated to give backing to the policy sides within the administration that apparently have been overtaken (see EPA vs State Dept in tarsandsaction.org ).

Nobody with a brain views them as anti-Obama, maybe anti-'Obama administration policy', but certainly the main point is that they are supportive of those within the administration on the losing side of the various debates - so far.

No link, no source, just my own hunch until proven otherwise.
