College students turned out in large numbers to vote for Obama in 2008 but they don't appear as enthusiastic for the 2012 election and Republicans are hoping to get their vote. Ana Kasparian and Jayar Jackson discuss on TYT University.

(On a personal note) I'm 20 and go to college and know several people my age who support Ron Paul! And yes I'm involved with my college Democratic organization and will conditionally vote for Obama in 2012.

1. Why did Rick Perry make the pitch about SS being a Ponzi scheme?
He said to all the young people, it is a Ponzi scheme.

You better believe they are going after the younger voter.

Perry's pitch was to the younger voter.
They have been on this divide the generations for years.

This is why a lot of young people think the older generation
has lots of money. They say are you not willing to give
up some of your benefits for your grandchildren.

Now they think they are close to making changes, they
are going after the younger voters. It makes mathematical
sense voter wise. They know they do not get the African-American
vote, and keep insulting the Hispanic vote. They must go
after the youth vote.

2. but what about those republican state bills against college student votes?
on one hand the republicans are disenfranchising people at that age and now asking for the vote? silly hypocrisy. basically those bills ban college students registering to vote in the college state. bummer if the student's real voting address is in a jurisdiction lacking mail-in ballots.

3. Have you watched Ron Pauls cult increase in numbers. That is
why he is permitted to stay in the race and campaign.
He knows he is never going to be President but being
on the campaign gives him bigger numbers in his movement.
Which party are all these young people going to vote
for???
