Joshua Holland, AlterNet joins Thom Hartmann. one of the police officers seen pepper spraying innocent protestors in Manhattan has been "outed" by a hack-activist group! So even though the officer may have been wrong in his actions...does exposing him and his family to possible harm make it right?

1. NO, you should not out his family
but flood his home precinct with emails and phone calls asking for his suspension.

I hate to say it, but anonymous is going to far. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you have to.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

2. No anything goes anymore...5 years ago I would have said no. Now the stakes are to high.

Rwers have managed to create a proto-fascist state. We can sing kumbuaha or get real. Within the year most fiat money will be worthless. We can start hitting back or remain arguing how many angels dance on pins.

6. Disagree. We do need to hit back, but not sink to their level. Exposing the family to possible
retaliation is unthinkable. They may be on our side. The officer needs to be punished and the machine wont do it, therefore bravo for anonymous. But dont punish the family.

11. I see your point. But things are not really "civilized" anymore.

The authorities must be made to fear the consequences of their actions.

He is "white shirt" management. He has a track record of doing such things. See his actions at the GOP convention where he pulled similar stunts on protesters there. No mercy at all should be given. Had the been 40s Germany, he would be Gestapo.

But, in no time at all conversations like this will be moot. Reality that the system is crashing, is creeping in.

Imagine trying to buy a loaf of bread and fiat money will not even be accepted.

These is the stakes we are now facing. This is the urgency we are dealing with.

As for Deputy Inspector Bologna, he should have thought about his family when he attacked those defenseless women. Which was just one of TWO attacks. See Below.

That is the mindset the rest of the authorities must be now educated with by Anonomous. They need to fear us.

14. Then shut down the computers
at the NYPD, not his family. I don't think progressives need to act like the mafia to make a point.

If it comes to that, fine, but it was not warranted in this case.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

13. I don't know about that-
who is flooding the home precinct with emails and phone calls?

Why is this battle supposed to be pretty and sophisticated?

The fact is-these fuckers do not seem to get it unless it hit close to home. They DO NOT GET IT unless they feel it.

They continually beat us by sinking lower. We wait and wait-using high-ground tactics, while public sentiment arises from the muck.

This is no time to be nice. Fuck 'em. Fuck them. What has acting nice gotten us? Nothing.

4. Well, say "yes" or "no"...
...but I'll bet he and his ilk will think twice now before they assault anyone else with pepper spray.

9. If you think that, I must say you dont know his mindset. He will use this as justification
for further violence. He needs to be punished, but his family doesnt.

10. Kids are one thing, but his spouse supports him.
She can't NOT KNOW that he's this kind of person. Whether she (yes, I'm *assuming* it's a she) works or keeps home for him, either way she's working for him.

It's humiliating to kids when their dad gets hauled out of the house and goes to jail for child porn, too. Should we not prosecute?

12. It wasn't right but
when you have a society where high level crimes are not prosecuted, corruption is tolerated, and abuse of power is rampant...

what do you :spank:  :grr: :nuke::eyes: EXPECT?
