Am I picking on his ability to construct a coherent sentence? Yeah. But only because lots of people were saying he's articulate when he clearly is not. I don't think he'd make a good spokesman simply because many people are confused about what exactly the OWS movement is about. If people are going to understand it, the message has to make sense. From Media matters

The New York Observer reports that the interview was filmed on September 28 for On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, but it doesn't seem to have aired.

So, to recap, Fox News chose to air a video composed of snippets of Occupy Wall Street protesters speaking, giving various reasons for their presence at the rally, and then concluded that there was no unified reason for the protest. It neglected to air a video of one of the protesters making a lucid, reasoned argument for change and equality and holding Fox accountable for its behavior. Fair and balanced, as usual.

On a similar note, while Fox has been deriding the Occupy Wall Street protests, it heavily promoted Tea Party protests in 2009. For more on this, see here.

He stuck his mike in my face at the Madison protest in February. Hahahahahaha! I hope the guy starts to consider a different network to work for unless he likes getting beat up on air. I wasn't as wordy as our friend here (and GREAT JOB by him, I must add) but instead disagreed with the reporter and left him hanging. Dead air space. When he asked if I didn't agree that the poor, poor states have to struggle to meet our pensions because we were 'bankrupting' the state, I said "Not in Wisconsin." Then I just stared at him until he got nervous..

Anyhoo, onward OWS. I'm sure it is coming to a city near me, and I will be there. Madison, maybe??
