I'm moving our money as soon as possible. Can anyone verify whether or not BoA has a payday loan operation in that area? I can't comment on that because the Payday loan sharks have been run out of NC and are not as present here.

edit: I've been made aware that this video is from August and is not connected with the current OWS protests. However, it's still not a good thing for BoA.

4. What the fuck is this shit?
I don't give a fuck when this is from, a bank can't just arbitrarily decide that they are going to keep a customer's money and not allow them to access it at a fucking branch that's (apparently) open for business!

Jesus tapdancing Christ, I hate these motherfuckers. Anyone who would willingly work with a criminal organization like BoA is morally bankrupt.

5. I clarified because
apparently there was some confusion on FB this afternoon about whether or not this video had anything to do with the Occupy Wall St. protests. I just wanted to clarify that it is a separate incident.

6. Another criminal act being protected by the Police who are suppose to protect us.
This is nonsense. There should be arrest made to the banksters and I hope there is a class action against BOA tha cost them dearly.

8. I can confirm they do Payday style loans in Oregon
My cousin got caught up in those. They were happy to give him a bank account and credit cards. Developmentally delayed, not able to handle the mental challenge of keeping money. Swiftly but surely he was in debt, with no discipline or understanding to pay his bills. Then they started calling his mom.

So every month he had to take out an "advance". This could be taken and kept out for up to a month, for a 20% charge. And it was based on/attached to his check amounts, so he could draw up to the amount of his last paycheck, and what he owed would be automatically taken from his next deposited paycheck.

Then again what can you expect of thieves. I never had fee issues with them, but they shorted my cash deposits, literally stealing cash from me, until I caught them and decided never again.

10. As I understand it YOU can have your new bank have the money transfered to them.
YOU don't have to even walk into BOA..you just go to your new bank and make arrangements with them to have your money withdrawn from BOA and put into your new bank account.
