Michael Lewis has written extensively on Wall Street and the financial and class gap. Here he talks about the current global
economic crisis, the sociological and psychological differences in response to the creeping crisis in several countries like
Greece, Iceland, Ireland and the U.S. He also provides his take on the connection between the social upheaval across the
globe, from Egypt to Wall Street and where it's leading. He provides a fresh, unique lens through which to examine a growing movement and dysfunctional system.

2. Hi DG!
Me too. And he's very entertaining to listen to as well. I like the way he thinks and expresses himself.

5. I listened to the full interview on Charlie Rose's web site
actually listened twice, they talk fast...towards the end, Lewis talked about the cultural impact of Ireland and Greece on their economic problems..quite enlightening.

3. Actually there's a better interview with Terry Gross on today's edition of Fresh Air

I caught most of it but it's absolutely worth listening to again. Charlie Rose is such an egotist, that he actually cut off Mike Lewis (as Rose often does)right in the middle of a very critical question/answer regarding Lehman Brothers and what the U.S. Banks are up to, and a number of other extremely critical questions. it was more important for Charlie Rose to show off his "creds" on the subject (which he has absolutely ZERO imo) than to actually have complete and honest answers to these critical questions. I found myself screaming at Rose last night in just utter frustration. I rarely watch his show these past few years because he such a typical Media Ass, only PBS style. I was thankful to know Terry Gross interviewed him this morning. Much Better!!

8. I watched Charlie for over 25 year before he was on PBS even. One he moved in to the Bloomberg

Studios in NY he started to go down hill fast. I keep watching him out of habit for a long time. Rose hangs with the 1% set now. He was a bit of a leaf in the wind to start with. Once the wind started gusting to the right he blew that way XD
