So said Gandhi to his legion of peaceful demonstrators as he took on and defeated the British Empire - the most powerful empire on the planet at the time - without raising a single musket. And today - history is repeating itself right here in America with Occupy Wall Street.

1. Very profound segment
As always. Speaking truth to our corporate tabloid media.

2. The purpose of Gandhi was to get the all British and their money OUT of India
He succeeded. There is only 300 million in investment by british entities and corporations now. roughly 25 cents per free Indian.

For our sake, I hope what results is more like South African model and not Rhodesia. More like Seattle/Austin and not like Detroit/Cleveland.

5. Thanks Thom -- don't forget little Albuquerque
People are stepping up here & can use all the encouragement & inspiration they can get.

Here's a local article with a ridiculously misleading headline:

6. thanks for the link to occupy albuquerque.
it is important for us to keep each other informed. the media will minimize the size of this movement and attempt to isolate groups and individuals so that they are more likely to give up and go home.
the knowledge that others, like us, have our backs will keep this movement going until the new "union label" will say "made in occupied america".
