The decade-long war in Afghanistan is nowhere near its end as the top U.S. commander in the country admits American troops will stay there much longer than expected. Some 90 thousand U.S. soldiers serving in Afghanistan had been set to leave the country in 2014, the original withdrawal deadline set by NATO. Washington had promised that all foreign troops would be out by then, leaving control of the military situation to Afghan authorities. But author Jere Van Dyk, who's written extensively on the subject of Afghanistan, says the war has only got worse over the years.

1. Yet more bullshit and lies from Russia Today.
Not one whit of which has anything to do with the departure of US troops, which will happen on schedule. We had the same amount of talking shit about Iraq.
