1. Right wing radio is destroying this country

As Malloy points out, many people in their 20's, 30's and 40's have grown up with nothing else.

2. The reason they can't reason...

Is the fascists in this country have been trained to simply have a hatred of "other". They are no longer issue based. Things they were for yesterday, they are against (violently) today.
This isn't new, it is the same technique that the colonial powers used, setting one tribe against another by picking a favorite and playing them against each other. But this time as Mike points out, they should know better. They are willing to play the tool.
For example, I worked with a senior chief, who is also a police chief, who was trying to explain to me the evils of socialism, the irony that every dollar he ever had or has is from socialism was completely lost on him.
