2. The appropriate adage for these trade pacts would be -- The devil is in the details.
The economics of these trade pacts does NOT work for Americans in any case.

The backers of these trade pacts (with South Korea, Colombia, and Panama) claim that they will generate $13 billion a year in exports. The question to ask is how big an increase in IMPORTS will they produce.

What hurts Americans is the trade DEFICIT. Increasing America's debt to pay for the increased imports will increase the devastation to the U.S. economy.

The ONLY solution to the U.S. economic problems is to limit imports of the type of goods that Americans buy on a regular basis such as clothes, shoes, appliances, electronics, linens, dishes, tools, and similar items in order to make their manufacture in the U.S. by American labor competitive.

Neither political party is considering the negative impact on Americans. Most politicians are eager to foist these alleged "solutions" on us. More evidence that the operative concept is "What's good for General Motors is good for America."

3. Sad part is He's right
The one thing he leaves out and it's something almost everyone here in Korea knows...
If you buy a foreign made car you can be sure you will be audited by the Korean IRS

5. It Should Be Obvious

Until America has a living standard equivalent to Bangladesh, few jobs will be coming home, few jobs will be created. That's Capitalism. But is it progress?

6. But Obama told us that...
...it means more American cars will be sold in Korea.
