2. He does state that maybe he is being too cynical,
but he and his co-hosts make good points. If money makes the world go round, politicians and/or the 1% are not gonna change for nothing.

3. If OWS won't change anything,
we are fucked because change, as has been so perfectly demonstrated, will not come through political means. Oh, by the way fuck Obama.

4. I think it will serve to galvanize many in the country who are affected
but unfortunately, the only way I can see that really taking hold is for some minion serving the 1% (be it the cops or private troops--Xe, for instance) to strike out and seriously injure/kill some peaceful protesters. That will solidify the OWS message with the middle/working poor faster than anything else out there.

5. No one knows exactly what will happen. But one thing that seems likely at this point is
a change in attitude by the general population. One that is less complacent and more apt to demand change from the government. It happened in the thirties and happened during the civil rights movement.

Tom Hayden also laid out four possible paths that the movement can take that anyone can look up.

This is real and popular. As I told my daughter, this is twenty years over-due and is happening ten years before I thought it would... but I'm damn glad it's happening.
