...YOU my friend are YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY.

Many here saw this coming years ago, but were told, "We're not there yet." and "Americans would never stand for it." and people went back to sleep. Far too many, despite all the evidence to the contrary, still believe in the news, and that it couldn't possibly fail to report a conspiracy so overarching as the total takeover of financial, legal and regulatory systems of the globe.

Nasty, niggling little voices said, "He ISN'T the champion of hope and change, you think He is." But we wouldn't listen, we even squelched those voices with considerable vigour, He just had to be what was claimed, because anything and everything else was too horrible to contemplate.

Sending us on a wild goose chase after non-existent, non-obvious answers, pretending that such even exist:

• Is how healthcare reform became a license for the insurance companies to reach into people's pockets and take whatever's there;
  
• Is why the EPA, FDA, and other regulators have had their teeth pulled; and
  
• Why the FBI, NSA, CIA, and other enforcers have been given steely dentures and turned loose on the populace.

I fear that we are being divested of property to prepare us for war. To make us ready to once again, go take from others, what we no longer have for ourselves.

Korea and Vietnam may well have been monumental disasters, but it could also be said, that they did function as safety valves, such that when the "real" Clash of Ideologies finally came to pass, in the late 80s and early 90s, Europe DID NOT self immolate in a nuclear conflagration and The Soviet Model died with a whimper. The attrocities of the Balkans measured in the thousands not the millions of WWII.

What should be of concern, is that once again, casualty figures are well and trully on the rise, climbing back into the millions with many indicators suggesting an expansion of conflict into new and more populous areas.

18. Closed my Chase bank account on Saturday and ...

The guy acted like I was insane. I was firm and direct and closed my account. Got my card cut up and got $4. But the big thing is that I won't be paying a god damn $6 per month just because I do my payroll deposit to my Credit Union and not them.

I hate Chase.

The guy there tried to sell me on the technology. Yeah right - I'm willing to sell out my comrades and cost myself $6 per month just so I can have cool technology and deposit checks by taking pictures of them and stuff. Yeah right!??????
