Olbermann does a lot of broadcasts without wearing a tie. Obama gives speeches without a tie on; Dimbulb always had a tie on, unless he was out on the golf course. I've seen senators and congressman (the liberal ones, not the stuffed shirt crowd) being interviewed on television sans cravat.

What does my fashion comment have to do with Herb (excuse me) Herman Cain? Very soon we will be to the point that you can tell if a politician is full-of-shit because he's wearing a tie. Then you can reach across the interview table, grab the tie and yank forcefully down until WHAM!, the idiot's head contacts the table. Preferable while yelling "you stupid fuck, don't you know that (insert correct fact here)". I'm sure it would have been a much better interview if Herman Cain's forehead was bouncing off the tabletop (with a tie-jerk assist) each time he told a whopper.
