just, wow. i don't have the words. how can you be trespassing on the property of the bank that you have all your money in? how was this even legal? i mean, i know arresting them was not legal, but how could any of these officers justify it in their minds? this is insanity. and bravo to all of these people for staying so calm. i would have been freaking out.

The cops must that it won't stick, but they don't care, because they figure it will deter others from pulling the same stunt.

I think it will. I think it will discourage other people from going into Citibank en masse and closing their accounts.

Instead, people will go into Citibank individually and close their accounts. After seeing this, lots of people probably will do that.

I wonder if it's a crime to arrest people without any basis. I imagine probably it is. These cops need to be tried for taking away citizens' freedom unjustly.
