5. Walmart CEO Pay: More in an Hour Than Workers Get All Year
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/walmart-ceo-pay-hour-workers-year/story?id=11067470

By Ed Smith's math, the CEO of Walmart earns more in an hour than his employees will earn in a year.

Smith, an alderman in Chicago, presented posters at a city council meeting showing that Walmart CEO Michael Duke's $35 million salary, when converted to an hourly wage, worked out to $16,826.92. By comparison, at a Walmart store planned for the Windy City's Pullman neighborhood, new employees to be paid $8.75 an hour would gross $13,650 a year.

Smith's numbers could be a bit off. Equilar, an executive compensation research firm, calculates that Duke earned just south of $20 million in 2009 and $28 million in 2008, not counting millions of dollars in potential performance awards. But the alderman argued that there's still a "sad" contrast between Duke's compensation and the wages of his employees.

"How can you go to bed at night and sleep knowing you make this kind of money and the people working for you can hardly buy a package of beans and rice?" he asked in an interview with ABCNews.com.

Walmart, meanwhile, said that its wages across the country are competitive in local markets and that on average, hourly employee pay -- which includes more experienced workers but not managers -- ranges from $10 to more than $12.

The retail giant made no apologies for Duke's salary.

7. Fundraiser for whom?
Not Obama, I hope. It appears in the video that some of those fat cats really ARE fat cats. Fat political donators, anyway: don't want to insult any cat-lovers here.

12. For something called "Conservation International"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservation_International

Conservation International (CI) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, which seeks to ensure the health of humanity by protecting Earth's ecosystems and biodiversity<2>. CI’s work focuses on six key initiatives that affect human well-being: climate, food security, freshwater security, health, cultural services and species contribution. The group is also known for its partnerships with local non-governmental organizations and indigenous peoples.

CI was founded in 1987 by Spencer Beebe and Peter Seligmann and now has a staff of more than 900 employees. Its work occurs in more than 45 countries, primarily in developing countries in Africa and Madagascar, Asia-Pacific, and the Central and South American rainforests.

The organization has been criticised for links to companies with a poor environmental record such as BP, Cargill, Chevron, Monsanto and Shell and for allegations of offering greenwashing services<3><4>. Conservation International has also been chastised for poor judgment in expenditure of donors' money. A 2008 article in The Nation pointed out that the organization had attracted $6 million for marine conservation in Papua New Guinea, but the funds were used for "little more than plush offices and first class travel."<5>

15. C I specializes in polluting, not pollution control. The "cock"
brothers are big supporters of CI. They doctor pollution reports and anything else you want fixed..
Monsanto hired them in 1998 to file a water purity study on some rivers Monsanto had polluted in New York and New Jersey. The original fine of $7 million was dismissed.
Remember when $7 million was a lot of money ?

That's a good one.

Love to all who took part in this demonstration. The fundraiser attendees looked silly trying to act confused or attempting to ignore the demonstrators. Frankly, I hope they're terrified.
