5. Yeah, Cenk. When the MSM is giving |
|
their audience nothing but pure misinformation it's no wonder people get the wrong idea.

6. Great interview. More great Cenk! |

It is so refreshing to see him off of M$M. I'm sure the money isn't as good but Cenk just seems so much more "in his element" when he's doing his own thing.
I think Cenk is exactly right - there is a lot of common ground between "conservatives" and OWS protestors, and that message is not getting out. This may be on purpose. The last thing the powers that be want is a unified front.
When I went to the Mo Brooks Town Hall meeting, I got up to speak my piece. I said, "Last weekend I went to my first-ever political protest, as part of the Occupy Huntsville demonstration. I want to say right up front, I do not identify myself as communist, socialist, or anti-capitalist. I firmly believe in people having a dream and working hard to make money. I don't have a problem with people making money or even being rich. But today in this country we have a problem. We have the Forbes 400 richest Americans controlling as much wealth as 1/2 of the nation. Now if someone were to ask me who had more influence over our government, the votes of 1/2 the nation or the wealth of those 400, I'd bet on the money."
His response? "You sound like one of those Tea Party guys!"
There is a lot of commonality between the two groups. Yes, the tea party people have been turned into an angry mob against poor people. But at least they, too recognize the corruption of government. Sadly, their response is to gut government, starting with social programs.
