CURRENT TV Countdown w/ KEITH OLBERMANN - 24 Oct. 2011: Interview with Jan Rodolfo, Midwest Director, National Nurses United.

RODOLFO: "Right, we were there as nurses, although we do support the Occupy movement and OccupyChicago wholeheartedly. Very inspired by them."

OLBERMANN: "Do you plan to go back?"

RODOLFO: "Absolutely. I think we feel a stronger resolve after this, and really believe that OccupyChicago and the Occupy movement represent the possibility of changing the whole narrative in the country. And, actually, we believe that the 99 percent out there are suffering, and we see it all the time at the beside as nurses. We see this as the best chance to actually change that narrative."

1. geez, that Rahm Emanuel is a piece of shit.
He's the one pushing the cops to arrest people.
He's just as awful as a republican mayor would be, and with twice the arrogance.

2. Agreed
Funny how I didn't see that in Clinton's second term. But it really became clear when Obama "suggested" he run for mayor of Chicago, what a tool he had become, nearly a scion of the right-wing. If this is the way our "friends" treat the 99ers, what are the enemies going to be like.

4. Portland OR Mayor is supporting OccupyPdx & has instructed Police to simply keep the peace
and work with Occupy "security" team (they call it something else, which I can't remember, but you
get the idea) to keep occupation peaceful, and safe for everyone ... Occupy is located right downtown
across from city hall and county courthouse, in sizable park, w/ bathroom facilities.

There have been a few unfortunate incidents involving a few unruly homeless peeps, but there is even
a tent set up for peeps needing mental health support, and we've gotten past these tough spots so far.

13.  welcome to rahm`s vision of the third largest city in the usa
where nurses are jailed for giving care to those who are in need. i thought this sort of thing happened only in second rate countries run by failing dictators.

another new low in america

You don't mess with nurses. Just ask Gov. Arnold.
