This highlights the fears of Christian Patriarchs that control the Republican Party & the Christian Right in America!

They really do fear women in positions of power! LOL!

1. They express a deep fear of women being in power/control

which I think (IMHO) is definitely at the root of all conservative, fundamental religions: Christian, Evangelical, Taliban, Catholic, Amish, fundamental Morman, Jewish etc. All are controlled by male scholars, bishops, Imams, elders, hierarchy, etc.
They are so insecure within themselves that they absolutely fear and need to control women.

In MY idealized concept of society, ALL are afforded equal stature and freedoms no matter WHAT you have between your legs OR how you choose to use it. In fact, as Bill and Pat clearly demonstrate here - you'd be free to be as stupid and backwards as you could be.
