Word of Gaddafi's death spread quickly through the media after he was found and killed. This ended a two month manhunt for the ex-Libyan leader. No American soldiers were killed in the task, and already British and American companies are waiting in line to take advantage of the money making opportunities in the torn country. Gayane Chichakyan reports.

Why post Russian news reports, by Russians, about Libya? You have the inter-tubes at your disposal. There are actual Libyan people with Op-ed's, videos, blogs, tweets, and a newly blossoming press. Actual Libyan's who live in Libya.

You're contention that there are other primary sources does nothing to contest the video's content.

If you're so interested in posting opinions like this, why don't you go in find those videos from Libyans that we should be viewing and post them yourself. I'd be interested in watching some that support your viewpoint.

Qaddafi also nationalized the banks and was disconnected (as much as you can get I guess) from the global banking system. They planned and created projects like that huge irrigation one. Also, everyone in Libya had free health care and university.

I only know of Qaddafi through the M$M so I must say I have a negative view of him, but found it disgusting how we are celebrating his execution (cause that's what it was). Generally speaking: I have come to practice a great distrust of the M$M, not only due to today's consolidated industry, but because they lied and failed to exact follow-up investigations of the following:

1. JFK assassination
2. MLK assassination
3. RFK assassination
4. Iran Contra
5. Franklin Scandal (just read a book on it; extremely disturbing shit)
6. Iraq War

To name the major ones...

Qaddafi may have been a bad guy, I'm sure he had skeletons in his closet if not more - all leaders generally do in this fucked up world - but I'll be damned if I believe everything our media tells us.

Just look at the lies the GOP is allowed to sell the American people with impunity.
