Keith and Adam Knight, an eighth-grade teacher who was arrested during last night's protest at Legislative Plaza, discuss how most of the community supports the movement.

6. the heritage foundation will send a bio of this guy to limbaugh or at least the Ohio blowhards and
will the the left notice? that is standard procedure for getting back at people like adam knight, especially teachers, public employees, etc., to get hundreds of teabaggers/dittoheads to harrass him or his bosses, demanding his firing.

RW radio is the biggest PC cop and censor -by-threat in the US. but there is no organized monitoring, much less challenge of it.

7. The FCC should be disbanded

Get rid of it. It wastes taxpayer money and does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to insure that publicly owned airwaves - OUR airwaves - are presenting information Americans need, or that they are being used in the PUBLIC INTEREST.

The 1% own our airwaves, for all intents and purposes, so who the hell needs the FCC anymore?

Or, the FCC could DO ITS JOB and EARN ITS KEEP. (But doing one's job is just not too easy when your nose is up a 1%er's ass)

8. the mechanism starts with your local rw radio station
hte only reason this is an issue is our RW radio stations have been getting a fee speech free ride

9. yes they have and you are correct

it's been on my mind to research and mount a campaign against the abuse of our airwaves.

Obama won the election fair and square, so you would think they could come up with ten minutes of positive talk for democrats.

Nope. It's hate Obama 24/7 on almost all PUBLIC airwaves. And it's wrong. AM Radio today in no way
serves the American people. They should lose their leases AND their broadcast licenses.

But with an impotent, lazy FCC, fat chance.

10. OWS protests should include RW radio stations- big limbaugh station WABC's near penn station NY
but every state has numerous RW stations. and they are wall street's best weapon to intimidate and enable politicians and police to evict protestors and then make excuses for the violence.

local sponsors and universities that put their sports on RW stations need to be shamed until the only ones left on those stations are the ones that will say they love limbaugh

because those universities are expecting their students will listen to those stations they can't argue it's just a free speech choice. no institution of higher learning has any excuse for endorsing a radio station that broadcasts global warming denial and racism and sexism. how can students and faculty not be passing petitions to get their teams off those stations.

there is no organized opposition to the right's best weapon but we don't have time to wait for the FC and legislation. it would take a supermajority.

11. Sorry, went visitin'

I agree with you.

will bookmark and think about different strategies.

AM Radio is owned by the 99%, leased by the 1%, and reminds me of the hell we'd have if the Fred Phelps Clan ran the National Park Service.
