The cultural arm of The United Nations has accepted Palestine as a fully fledged member. It's the first time Palestinians have achieved full status to a UN body. But UNESCO could pay for its decision with a major cut in funding. RT's Daniel Bushell reports.

If things stay as they are, UNESCO will not appear in an appropriation bill and the administration will have no way to restore funds. This was well known ahead of time by all parties, including UNESCO
