Cliff Schecter, Progressive PR strategist, joins Thom Hartmann. Now that it's crystal clear what Republicans are up to - and that's crashing the economy before the 2012 elections to make President Obama look bad - why the heck is the President going along with the nefarious - and what some may call "treasonous" plot?

This is from July, 2012. In light of the recent Occupy movement, I wondering if the crime of treason is an entirely plausible one? Do you know of anyone and/or organization that is seriously looking into this?

I say it's because he's read the script and knows what part he is supposed to play.

2. Good question.

I'm not a mind reader, but if I had to speculate, I would say that maybe he thought he was being the 'adult in the room' and assumed? that at least some consensus could be had...at least to some extent and hindsight always being 20/20, probably didn't count on such a staunch, united party of no clear across the board....would be my guess.

5. I still wonder ya'll

Is there ANY LEGAL BASIS for proclaiming treason (either whole or in part) on the Republicans (as a whole and/or individually) who were/are so hell-bent on OBSTRUCTING all of those various measures in Congress that would have certainly helped to alleviate some of the OBVIOUS and SUBSTANTIATED plight in this country?????

Wasn't there some kind of document/proclamation/agreement that all the Republicans signed off on (I seem to remember?) to vie against Obama and if so, would this not serve to be a form of physical evidence towards these ends?

Sure would like to hear from someone with a legal background to chime in here...
