They are sooooo conscious of what the founders were thinking when they wrote the Constitution. If that were the case they would know that 'E Pluribus Unum' was the original motto of the United States, adopted by an act of Congress in 1782. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_pluribus_unum) 'In God We Trust' started appearing on the money in 1864 and was only adopted as the US motto in 1956 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_God_We_Trust) interestingly enough, around the same time that 'Under God' was added to the Pledge of Allegiance. Both of these things Repuliclowns would have us believe have always been so.
