3. Kids in capes
While participating in protest marches before and after the beginning of the neoconservative war against Iraq, some in the crowd (none appeared to be far out of high school) wearing black bandanas over their faces handed out small slips of paper inviting marchers to break windows later.

I'd suspect they were the same people committing acts of vandalism now if I thought it were possible they hadn't aged a day in almost ten years.

If the day comes when we need to tear down Wall Street brick by brick to further the cause of economic justice, then let's tear down Wall Street brick by brick. Leave the mom and pop stores in places like downtown Oakland alone. Most of the people who run those shops aren't part of the problem. They are the people we don't need to alienate. They are struggling as much as the rest of us, and they are the job creators who aren't getting bank loans while Jaimie Dimon, Lloyd Blankfein & Co. sit on piles of cash and wait for the People to cry "uncle."
